Though we do not often take time to think about the water that we put into our bodies, it is important to note that water does much more than merely provide us with necessary hydration.

Numerous global research findings suggest that the water we drink can also have a significant role in our diet. Most common bottled drinking water has a near neutral pH of 6-7, with a lower pH indicating a higher level of acidity and a higher pH indicating a more alkaline water. Although water with a neutral pH is perfectly sufficient for keeping you hydrated, it has little effect on helping you to maintain a healthy, well-balanced pH when taking diet into consideration.

The average Indonesian diet is known to be highly acidic, often containing rice, chicken, and some form of chili sambal. Meraclus, meaning pure in Latin, is our up-and-coming bottled alkaline water brand focused on providing access to healthy, high-quality alkaline drinking water for the entire island of Batam and beyond. Over the last decade, we have noticed alkaline water filters for home and office use gaining increasing traction in the local marketplace.

Although we were pleased to see the Batam community gain access to alkaline drinking water, we saw a key need that these domestic water filters were unable to address, namely the consistency and mineral content of the drinking water.

Mainstream alkaline water filters do not always produce water that contains the minerals necessary to provide you and your family with a healthy and balanced body.

We believed that with our years of industry experience and passion for quality drinking water, we could come up with a better solution. Introducing, Meraclus.

Meraclus exists as the very first bottled alkaline drinking water available on the island of Batam. Each bottle of water that we produce boasts an acid neutralizing pH of 8-9, abundant mineral content, and is refined using a strict set of processes that ensure every bottle meets the highest national and international industry standards.
